Prediabetic A1C Statistics

This indicator shows data for patients of age 20 or more with an A1C within the prediabetes range (5.7% to 6.4%) per the CDC. In addition, it shows correlations between patients with an A1C indicating prediabetes and Body Mass Index (BMI), ethnicity, Federal Poverty Level (FPL) status, health insurance status, and sex, and age.  

Why is this important?

This indicator is important because it provides data that can be used to identify correlations between an A1C and other important factors. In addition, it helps users identify diabetes trends over time.
